Munich, 8 February 2016 - The Nomination Committee of the Supervisory Board of Linde AG will recommend to the Supervisory Board to propose to the Annual General Meeting the election of Professor Dr Wolfgang Reitzle on 3 May 2016 to the Supervisory Board. The election will become effective as of 21 May 2016 after expiration of the legally required cooling-off period of two years.
In addition, it will be proposed to elect Professor Dr Wolfgang Reitzle as Chairman of the Supervisory Board as of 21 May 2016.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr Manfred Schneider, has decided – as intended – to resign from his mandate with effect as of 20 May 2016 and to step down from the Supervisory Board.
At the same time, Dr Victoria Ossadnik, who was appointed as member of the Supervisory Board by the court in January 2016, will be proposed for election to the Supervisory Board.
